This area is a true haven for those seeking a wilder, more authentic environment on the Costa Blanca.
In Las Rotas, you’ll find a sequence of small coves and beaches, including:
- Marineta Casiana, the only sandy beach, perfect for families and water activities, with a Blue Flag.
- El Trampolí, famous for its wooden diving platform and clean waters.
- Punta Negra, an excellent paradise for snorkelling, newly awarded the Blue Flag in 2025.
- Les Arenetes, an intimate rocky cove and the gateway to the rugged landscape of Cape San Antonio.
- Cala de l’Aigua Dolç (nudist), a hidden and peaceful cove accessible only on foot.
This entire stretch is part of the Cape San Antonio Marine Reserve, ensuring clean waters, vibrant seabeds, and dramatic scenery, including viewpoints such as the Torre del Gerro and routes like the Cova Tallada. In addition, a nearly 3 km seaside promenade, perfect for walking, running, or cycling along the coast, connects these coves and offers ideal stops at restaurants and natural viewpoints.
Las Rotas is the perfect spot for anything from a family day on the sand to a session of snorkelling, hiking, or photography in secluded coves. Moreover, the Las Rotas bus line makes it easy to reach all points without worrying about parking.
