El Trampolí Beach

“Discover a different kind of beach, where peace and comfort blend with the natural beauty of Les Rotes”

Trampoli Denia

El Trampolí Beach, located in the charming area of Les Rotes in Dénia, is a rocky beach that stands out for its accessibility and comfort. This unique spot offers a different experience from the typical sandy beaches, making it ideal for those seeking tranquillity and a more natural setting. With facilities such as a diving platform and metal ladders to make getting in and out of the water easier, it’s a perfect option to enjoy the sea with ease.

Description

El Trampolí Beach is known for being a rocky beach, but unlike many others, it has been adapted for swimmers to enjoy a comfortable experience. Along the beach there are flat areas where you can lay down towels or sunbeds, making it more accessible and pleasant. It also features a diving platform in the water, perfect for the adventurous, and metal ladders like those found in swimming pools, allowing safe and easy access to the sea. There is also a ramp that tends to be quite slippery due to seaweed growth, so it’s advisable to wear appropriate footwear when walking on the rocks.

Very close to this beach is a small cove locals from Dénia call El Gosset (the little dog), named after the rock shaped like a dog’s head just in front of it. It’s a small pebble cove that even has its own legend — the legend of the Gosset of Selene.

The beach is part of the famous Les Rotes area, a coastal stretch full of coves and seaside paths connecting various beaches. This setting is perfect for those who enjoy long seaside walks, as the entire coastline can be explored on foot along the seaside promenade. The atmosphere here is more relaxed than on sandy beaches, attracting visitors who seek a more intimate experience and closer contact with nature.

Directions

El Trampolí beach is located about 3.3 km south of Dénia. If you plan to go by car, I recommend leaving early as parking is limited. There are two car parks, one right on the beach at Camino Fénix and another very close at Camino Ample. Follow these steps to reach it comfortably.

  1. From Dénia harbour, continue straight along the Dénia to Xàbia Road (CV-736) for approximately 600 metres.
  2. At the roundabout, take the third exit towards Carr. de Dénia A Xàbia/CV-7361.
