Els Molins Beach in Denia at a beautiful sunset

Els Molins Beach on Denia’s northern coast stands out for its fine golden sand, stretches approximately 2.7 kilometres, and offers a peaceful atmosphere even during peak season. Its northern orientation makes it a special spot for kitesurfing in winter.

Description

Els Molins Beach, also known as Punta de L’Estanyó, is a wide stretch of fine golden sand, both in length and width, providing plenty of space for those seeking tranquillity away from the crowds typical of beaches closer to the city.

It is located between Les Bovetes and La Almadrava, about 7 kilometres from Denia’s centre. With few large developments nearby, this beach is rarely crowded. It is perfect for long walks along the shoreline thanks to its 2.7km length.

The beach is also ideal for families with children, as the entry into the water is gradual and safe. Thanks to its lifeguard tower and rescue post, you can swim with complete peace of mind. It has been awarded the Blue Flag, reflecting its quality and available services.

The experience at Els Molins combines the best of a crowd-free beach with some nearby amenities, such as a beach bar offering sunbeds and parasols. Surrounding the beach are just a few residential areas, and you can find restaurants to sample local cuisine after a day by the sea.

During winter, the winds make it a hotspot for water sports enthusiasts, including kitesurfing and wing foiling.

Its north-facing orientation and wide expanse make it unique in the Valencian Community, allowing navigation with winds from W/NW/N.
