Les Deveses Beach, with a stretch of almost 3 kilometres, is the longest in Dénia. It is located around 12 kilometres from the town centre, ensuring that even during peak season it does not get overly crowded. This fine, golden sandy beach is perfect for long walks while enjoying its unique natural surroundings. Its landscape combines coastal dunes that protect the local ecosystem with the mouth of the Molinell River, creating a balance between nature and comfort.

On the beach, tranquillity and spaciousness are the main attractions, making it an ideal choice both for families and for those looking to practise water sports such as kitesurfing or wingfoil. In addition, the recent widening of the beach, which has added between 30 and 110 metres in some areas, offers an even more complete experience. This change, the result of coastal interventions, has restored Les Deveses to the profile it had decades ago.

To the south, it borders Almadraba Beach, known for its pebbles, while to the north it marks the boundary between Dénia and the province of Valencia, being the official gateway to the Costa Blanca. Overall, Les Deveses combines natural beauty, comfort and a privileged location.

How to get to Les Deveses Beach

Reaching this beach is very easy. From Dénia harbour, take the Carretera de Les Marines (CV-730) northwards for about 12 kilometres. Once you reach the Las Marinas roundabout, take the first exit and continue straight until Calle Riu Nacimiento, where you can park on nearby streets.

For those who prefer public transport, there is a bus line connecting Dénia with this beach and other nearby beaches in the Las Marinas area.

During the mid and high season, Les Deveses Beach offers a wide range of services ensuring the comfort and safety of all visitors. Here’s what you can find:

Lifeguard and surveillance: The Red Cross of Dénia provides lifeguard services during the summer. Hours: June and September from 11:00 to 19:00. July and August from 10:30 to 20:00.
Lifeguard post: Located on C/ Riu Nacimiento.
- Elevated observation chairs strategically placed for better control.
Accessible entrances: The beach has access points adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Boat entry and exit channels: These are properly marked on several streets:
- Riu Deva
- Riu Gorgos
- Riu Nacimiento
- Additionally, an exclusive kitesurf channel is located between Riu Vinalopó and Riu Torre Maçanes.

Kitesurfing, windfoil or paddleboarding. Thanks to favourable winds like the Garbí and the Llebeig, it is one of the best spots to practice these sports. Several schools, such as Kite45 and WingCenter Denia, offer courses to learn or improve skills in these sports.
Relaxing walks along its long stretches of sand or simply enjoying a day in the sun with your family.
Walking with pets: Being away from Dénia, it is perfect for dog walks, although only allowed outside the summer season. There is an area where it is prohibited all year due to regenerating dunes, which is also a breeding ground for the protected native species, the Kentish plover.
Chiringuito Los Baños Sunshine, open since 1974, considered one of the best beach bars in Spain according to Forbes magazine. They offer modern Mediterranean cuisine using products from their own garden and seasonal ingredients, as well as breakfasts and cocktails.

More Information

Beach regeneration: The work has been carried out in recent months and has restored a section of coast similar to how the beach was in 1960. This regeneration has allowed the recovery of sand lost over decades. The beach has gained a width of between 110 metres (next to the new breakwater created at the mouth of the Molinell) and 30 metres. In addition to the sand, two new groynes have been built, and the height of the existing groyne has been increased. These measures are expected to preserve the sand and the current appearance of the beach for at least another 25 years.
